Sharing is Caring-

Do you ever wonder how difficult it is to be “HAPPY?”

Although we want to be happy but completely fail in it. Do you ever try to find the reasons behind it? For many, they can be situations, persons, God etc. Ultimately, our happiness is dependent on something or someone else.

For example, a job seeker always thinks that if he gets a job, he will be happy. A person without his own house thinks that he will be happy if he buys a house. An employee thinks he will be happy if he gets a good appraisal. Likewise, our happiness is conditional to many such external targets.

Don’t you ever think that your happiness is dependent on you and you ONLY?

There is no one or nothing that can give you happiness. It is only your state of mind which is responsible for your happiness. Now someone may ask that if this is the case, then no one in the world will be sad. Everyone wants to be happy then why is there a lot of sadness and depression in the world. So let’s try to find out the answer to this question.

First, let us try to know how our happiness is not dependent on someone or something.

Suppose your son has gifted you a new mobile phone. What will be your thoughts? How amazing is my son! How much he cares for me and finally you will be happy getting that mobile. Now one of your friends tells you that it is an out-dated mobile. This is not good. How can your son gift you such a cheap mobile? The next second your thoughts will change and you will feel sad. In both the situations, your son and mobile were the same. When you created good thoughts, you felt happy and when you created negative one, you became sad.

I hope, now it is clear that you are the owner of your happiness. You are the one who creates it by your quality of thoughts.

How to bring the happiness in your life?

The second problem is that we always delay being happy.

We make aims then say if this will happen then I will be happy. This is not the ideal way to live your life or achieve your goals. Suppose a student aims to crack the entrance exam. He can do it in two ways. First, he may study hard with fear, anxiety and jealousy. Second, he may study hard but decides that while achieving his aim he will be always happy. For this, he will take care of his quality of thoughts. So according to you which way will be more beneficial? Let’s talk about both ways.

In the first, he is full of negativity because of fear, anxiety and jealousy. He will also send this negativity to the universe as he has only this. Ultimately universe will also throw back the same. This will create more negativity and it may hamper his efficiency; ultimately his result. Now comes the second way. He is happy and will send universe the signal of positivity so the universe will also revert with the same, and his whole life will be a positive one.

Now suppose that student manages to crack the exam by following the first way. By achieving it, he will be happy but for how long? He will be happy until a new goal comes to him. Then he will be sad again and this process will continue.

We know life is not a bed of roses. There is always a new challenge in front of us but with this much of negativity, your life will become a burden on you. It is very harmful to you, both physically and mentally.

[perfectpullquote align=”full” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]God has given us this beautiful life to live happily. Don’t postpone your happiness. Don’t wait for the happiness to come, just grab it. Each and every second of your life needs to be filled with happiness. Create your own happiness and face challenges with positivity so that God can also be happy with you.[/perfectpullquote]
