Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence, and face your future without fear.
We live in present, we have a future yet all we think is about our past. We, humans, have the tendency to hold our past in more awe than the present and the future. Be it good or be it bad, we all fondly like to recall our past. But when it becomes more than nostalgia it will affect our present negatively. We must learn to live in present and try to make a secure future for ourselves rather than drowning ourselves in the nostalgia of the past. Past is gone it cannot be undone so there is no point in thinking about it.
Many of the problems in our life arise when we are not able to let go of the past. When we keep holding our past tightly, we become blind to the opportunity presented to us by life in the present which ultimately affects our future. We all have some regret of our past which we desire to remove from our life but life is no music player. There is no rewind button so we have to live with the regret of the past. We should try to leave this incident out from our mind but it’s easier said than done. So what do we do?
Just to get over it many times we create a fake persona in our mind that we don’t care about it even though we do just to show others we are tough. We let our mind get engulfed in our own fake persona which ultimately creates a bigger problem in our life, because our subconscious mind always holds the truth which creates an inner turmoil of the person in the picture.
It affects a man psychologically and physically as he is unable to form his opinion about problems in his life. As such times a person must take help from his close ones and if necessary he must take the advice of a psychiatrist if he is unable to overcome the guilt of it. Sharing problems helps a person in releasing a part of his turmoil from within him; some good advice from people too can help a person from overcoming his problems.

But if you want to avoid it all for good then the simple solution lies within you. Be true. Accept yourself for who you are. Accept your past rather than running away from it. Be grateful to your past. If you are able to accept it with open mind many of your presents and future problems will die even before they arise. For accepting the truth is one way of embracing happiness from within. Learn from your past; let it be a benchmark for your future. The sooner you accept all your mistakes and regret and owe up to it the more sooner you will be able to see the bright opportunities that life places before you from time to time.
I know it’s hard to accept the past when you have faced so many problems but trust me accepting the past as a part of your life is one of the easiest way of letting things go that’s holding you back.
